K-7 Summer Reading
The Curriculum and Instruction Department provides myON as a Summer Reading resource for grades K-7. Students will have access to thousands of digital books during the summer. Students will continue reading on their myON accounts via Clever. In addition, families and students will be able to view their reading progress on the student dashboard and complete the
summer reading activities assigned to them.

The 2023 Summer Reading Resource is designed to encourage every student from Kindergarten to Seventh grade to choose digital books they prefer for independent reading, research, and fun. myON provides anytime and anywhere access for students to continue to grow in their love for reading during the summer.

This summer, students will be provided with a suggested reading list for celebrating diversity, teaching kindness and respect, Life Science selections, and targeted grade-level book recommendations. Additionally, family activities that start and end with a good book are included for students to enjoy throughout the summer.
